ASYLUM-SEEKERS’ SUPPORT PROJECT We offer a church home, advice and emotional and practical support to many asylum-seekers, especially mothers with babies. We guide many new arrivals through the complexities of the German system. We fund-raise for this project separately and are able to fund essentials such as baby clothes, transport and passports.

Give&Take Day
Once every quarter Peace Church organises a Give&Take Day. People bring (and the Church also collects) good, used articles: clothing for children and adults, toys, books, household items. And others take anything they can use. All items are free. No money exchange. And especially asylum seekers are very happy about the opportunity to “shop” at the church.

THE ASYLUM-SEEKERS’ HOME We also support the “Arbeitskreis Asyl” in Baierbrunnerstrasse, Munich. This involves an ongoing collection of toys and clothes of all kinds : bags may be left under the stairs in the church basement. In July each year, we run a Summer Fair for the refugee families in the garden of a nearby church.
