Church Office Hours
Monday is the pastor’s day off. Please help her keep this time free.
You can still ring the office answer phone (089-26023677, mobile 0179 672 6794) or send an e-mail (christine@peacechurch.de). Pastor Christine will pick up the message on Tuesday morning. She is in her office most mornings. Jenny McPherson is from now on working as church secretary. She will be in Pastor Christine’s office on Thursday and sometimes Friday mornings.
Council on Ministries
is having their next meeting on Tuesday 7 September at 7:30 pm at church. Agendas will be on the tables on the evening.
Women’s Bible Study Group
is taking a summer break and will meet again on Thursday 7 October at 10am. All are welcome to join us.
The African Choir
meets every Sunday after church coffee. For details contact Grace Owusu or Moses Adofo. Please feel free to join us if you are interested.
The Children’s Choir
usually meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month after church. Please check with Titilayo Adedokun-Helm or Katie Gill. All school children welcome!
Adult Singing Group
will not meet in August. Next meeting will be Sunday 5 September at 10.30am.
Coffee Rota
The Coffee Rota for August to October is now up in the kitchen. Please sign up to do this one Sunday if you feel you can, or get together with some friends and do it together. Many people who do coffee on a Sunday morning are on holiday in August so are unable to cover this time. If you are unsure of what is involved please speak to someone who does it regularly and they will show you where everything is kept. It is a very important service in the life of Peace Church.

Prayer at Peace Church
There are yellow Prayer Slips in the weekly bulletin & on the shelf next to the church entrance. Completed slips are collected as part of the Offertory. If you are happy to share your prayer, members of our Prayer Chain will be praying for you through the week. (Please be assured that, having been offered to God, private requests are destroyed without being read.)

Membership
Whether you are here for a few months, a few years or "forever", you can become an official member of Peace Church. If you wish to retain membership at your “home church”, you can become an “Affiliate Member” (if a Methodist) or an “Associate Member” (if from another denomination). Full Membership is available for everyone else. All types of membership make it clear that you really do belong here. New Members are asked to support Peace Church with their “prayers, presence, gifts and service.”
