Dear friends and Christian family,
attached is an international call to prayer for Nicolas Erb-Kanzleiter, the teenage son of our pastor Christine and her husband Pastor Reiner. Together with Nico's older brother Jacob, the family needs your prayers as Nico had an accident while swimming last weekend. When he slipped and fell, he broke the sixth cervical vertebrate in his spine and the doctors fear he may not regain use of his legs or arms. At the moment, he is not able to breathe without help of a machine for any length of time, and the few waking moments for him in the Intensive Care unit of one of Europe's leading spinal emergency hospitals in Murnau, Germany are quite disorienting.

Christine's ministry has changed my life, and I wrote the attached prayer - prayer support is all she has requested so far. Please join us in prayer and pass along this email to anyone you know who may be willing to participate. It may be months before Nico can leave the hospital, possibly years before the effects of this tragedy are healed. Please keep Nico, the family, friends and families of Reiner's Friedenskirche (www.friedenskirche-muenchen.de ) and Christine's Peace Church in your prayers.
